Isis Al Khamsa arabians is proud to occassionally offer quality athletic straight Egyptian and/or Al Khamsa Arabians for sale, in addition to breeding services beginning in 2010 with our own black Straight Egyptian Al Khamsa colt(pls see current picture and video above), IAK Baraka(Presumido Feisul x Kismet Zahwa).
Barak, or,"champ" ,as the girls call him,is out of our mare Kismet Zahwa,who is linebred to National Champion Simeon Shai.His sire is the beautiful black arabian stallion Presumido Feisul,an Egyptian Event champion.Pls go to Barak's page for more information on him.
Although we do not necessarily breed for black,but instead for quality,we seem to be getting quite a few of them lately! Pls see the foals page for Barak's 2008 full sister, a rather exotic black or black bay filly,"Amitta".
Our breeding stock is selected after much thought and consideration regarding phenotype expressed, potential genotype,and temperment of the mare and stallion.As my primary objective as an arabian breeder is to improve the breed, only the finest examples of mare or stallion free of conformation defects are selected for this breeding program.
I have selected Al Khamsa and Egyptian Arabians for my breeding program in part because I do believe they are (as often the German Arabian breeders call them),"Asil",or the purest of the pure Arabian bloodstock,with no outcrosses,therefore, they trace directly back to the desert Bedioun horse ,in my opinion,a rather spectacular athletic horse (the early progenetor of the Thoroughbred,and 140+ light horse breeds),produced by the stringent selectve breeding practices of the desert Bedouins,Sheiks and in the 19th century,Egyptian Agricultural Organization of Egypt,all who aparently revered the breed and held it sacred.
